I HAVE DREAMED OF THIS MOMENT AND SHIPPED THIS FRIENDSHIP AND IT’S FINALLY ALL HAPPENING!!!!!!
You guys, what if Tina Fey wrote a buddy/girl power movie for these two?

I can’t recommend this video enough. The “You Made It Weird” podcast with Jenny Slate is even better but it’ll take you about 2 hours to get through that, not just 6 minutes.

Act my age?
What the fuck is that, “act my age”?
What do I care how old I am?
The Ocean is old as fuck.
It will still drown your ass with vigor.

People always want to know where your children are in relation to you. So if I’m in New York [Poehler has homes in New York City and Los Angeles] people go, “Are they here?” And it’s like, “Of course they’re with me. They’re wherever I am unless I’m working for a couple days and then they’re not with me. And no, they’re not at this party because I’m an adult. And this party is for adults.” But age gives you a couple of things: One, you get better at not taking everything people say personally. Two, you learn those types of questions are more about the person asking them than they are about you. And three, you realize no one can make you feel bad about your choices without your permission.
Amy Poehler in this Ladies Home Journal article in response to the question: What’s it like for you, being a single working mom?
Quick story. When V was about 4 or 5 weeks old, I went to a bestie’s engagement party. Another friend was there and said to me, “So, first night without the baby?” to which I responded, “No, actually we went to a work event last week.” Her response was to tilt her head to the side, squint her eyes, and say, “So soon?”

Slate's map of where taxpayer-funded schools teach creationism is downright depressing.
As you can see there’s a full infestation of inanity in Tennessee and Louisiana.
I’m not defending Louisiana BY ANY MEANS, but I would think the religious schools all teach creationism. And there are COUNTLESS religious schools here because the public schools are notgreat.

New Trailer: ‘Maleficent’ - May 30
I can’t begin to describe how excited I am for this movie! This was my favorite movie as a kid, and it looks like they stuck pretty close to the original animated story. Even Tchaikovsky is back!

I would take this class so fucking hard.
Stop it right now.
I LOVED taking spin when I had the time. This seems way better than the dark LOUD ASS tiny room at Definitions.
