This kid, you guys. I just can’t even. She’s started to repeat “cheeeeeese” when we try to take a picture of her. It’s almost too much.
This was from Memorial Day after her introduction to the new sprinkler. (Notice the wet curl where a Pebbles ponytail usually lives.)

If you ever feel like you should put two spaces after periods when turning in copy, stop that feeling. Don’t do that. Just don’t. Love, Every Editor Ever.
This is really only a recent mindset to adopt a standard of a single space sizes for a full stop and it seems rather…
For what it’s worth (very little), in some legal writing, two spaces is standard. At least in the legal writing* my dad did. I’m still trying to break the two space habit he passed down editing my high school papers.

Stuff and Junk:
BabyKid- V had her first birthday two weeks ago. She is still in the same percentiles as far as weight and height (75th and 95th respectively). Her newest trick is mimicking animal noises when we read “Moo, Baa, La La La.” Teeth are popping through all day, everyday and I’m strongly considering an amber necklace to help some of her symptoms. After her tubes and adenoids surgery, she really started walking all over the place. Her drunk baby walk plus the Pebbles hair are sometimes too much cuteness for me to handle.- Yoga- I did a yoga DVD the other day and I kinda loved it. I’ve heard a lot of “real” yoga fans say you should go to a studio and all that, but listen. I already had the DVD (part of P90X) and I’m not going to pay for a class if it’s something I may not like. I was also worried I wouldn’t be able to DO any of the poses because I am not flexible. At all. But I’m still sore in weird places and will probably keep working on the DVD until I can find some time to go to a class.
- Shopping- I just got a pair of mint/seafoam jeans and I’m a bit obsessed. They aren’t “business attire” so they will have to wait until tomorrow for their debut. If you want a pair for yourself, they run SMALL. I had to order 2 sizes larger than my normal(vanity) size.
- Coming Up- This weekend we have a birthday party for the big kid and I think I’m going to the river with V and her Nanny. First time in a bathing suit in front of anyone who doesn’t have my last name in 2 years. That should be fun.
