Y’all, I stayed up SO LATE last night, watching the American Idol finale live (well, eating, bathing children, convincing said children to go to sleep while it was on in the living room) THEN watching The Office retrospective AND the finale on DVR.
I stopped DVRing The Office about a year ago, but I’ve enjoyed watching this last stretch of episodes. Oh, and it afforded me an opportunity to just let Andrew know that if J. Krasinski walked through my front door and demanded I leave my family and run away with him to Hollywood, sorry bros, I’m out. So at least we got that out there.

We’ve got a Two Year Old on our hands, folks.
V had a birthday almost two weeks ago, and her party was the weekend before Mother’s Day. We had a few (well) doctor visits planned and I’m happy to report she is healthy, smart, and right on track developmentally. Her ENT was rechecking her tubes (we’re a year out from that surgery) and I learned something new! He said her tubes were NOT working, which was GOOD. He said the tubes themselves will likely float away and she is free to swim this summer without the need for plugs. He also pulled the hugest chunk of wax from her ear. He called it an “adult sized” piece of wax. UGH gross.

It was quite windy and cool for her birthday party. We planned a splash park party, and the toddlers ended up in sweaters instead of swimsuits, but they all had fun. We couldn’t light the candle on her cupcake due to the wind, but we all sang and she blew out her unlit candle anyway.
We have another party to work on for this weekend. (Did you know these girls have birthdays only 2 weeks apart?!) Then a dance recital. Then an out of town wedding for me. So I may not surface until after June 2nd!

Pretty bummed that I missed this deal on Very Jane.
I love me some good ‘inspired by’ jewelry…but sometimes, it is blatantly obvious that it’s either a.) a legit knock-off, b.) been ‘knocked-off’ a delivery truck and is technically stolen, or c.) not at all what you’re actually going to get when what you paid for arrived. And I’m pretty sure that these necklaces qualify for at least one of the above.
I say that because I have both of these necklaces. And what is shown in the above images is EXACTLY what I purchased from my very own J Crew. Unwrapped it from our shipment myself. And by EXACTLY - I mean down to the little round J. Crew tag by the clasp, which you can clearly see in the above pictures.
All I’m saying is, let’s cut through the crap and stop trying to make these flash deal inspired-by sales sites more than what they really are - a re-packaged version of eBay, mmmkay?
